Senior EU official Enrique Mora tweeted on Wednesday that “two intense days of indirect negotiations on the JCPOA” – an acronym for the agreement’s official name, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action – had taken place in Doha.
“Unfortunately, this is not yet the progress that the EU team as coordinator had hoped for. We will continue to work with even greater urgency to bring back a key deal on nonproliferation and regional stability,” he said.
